    It is hard to see a direct con­nec­tion between sales suc­cess and “green­ness” of a com­pany. Low ranked com­pa­nies in Greenpeace’s “Guide to greener elec­tron­ics” are def­i­nitely sell­ing well, as do top ranked Nokia, Sam­sung or HP.

    Electric Car’s Achilles’ Heel

    Bat­ter­ies for elec­tric cars do have a poor energy den­sity com­pared to gaso­line used for con­ven­tional cars. How­ever, tech­no­log­i­cal advance­ments and avail­abil­ity of dis­trib­uted charg­ing sta­tions might be enough to make this dis­ad­van­tage man­age­able for elec­tric cars.
